Georgia Medicaid says a significant number of EDWP prior authorizations were entered incorrectly
DCH disclosed July 27 that a significant number of Elderly Disabled Waiver Program prior authorizations were incorrectly entered into GAMMIS. The department says the majority have been processed, remaining cases are being corrected, and providers should use the escalation path through Gainwell, the member's case-management agency, and DCH technical support.

Why it matters
